4months old Sun 6/28

Our first family photos! Patrick did very good until
Daniel and I got in the pictures and then he thought
it was enough already! Though I'm glad he did as well as he did
because he's been extra fussy lately, he may be teething.

Welcome to the Great Big World!

Daniel Patricio "Patrick" Hueto was born on February 28th, 2009 at 4:19 AM. He weighs 6lbs. 15 oz. and is 20" long. Little Patrick had a great welcoming committee. He was welcomed into the world by his loving, tired parents, and sleepy family members. He is so beautiful that all have agreed that it was quite worth being sleep deprived! Just see for yourself! (Composed for new mommy by Aunt Angela.)

The ultrasound went well, Patrick was moving a lot, which totally impressed the ultrasound technician. And further, it appears he is 5 lbs which is at 55% of "normal" so not too big, not too little. And apparently his measurements show that my gestational diabetes is not affecting him at this point. Thank God for that! I also have plenty of fluid and got to watch as he practiced "breathing" the fluid in and out of his nose. It was really cool. Anyway, here are a couple of face shots the ultrasound tech got for me, and I have to say he looks cute! (so glad...you know you never know!) :)
