First posted pics of Patrick

The ultrasound went well, Patrick was moving a lot, which totally impressed the ultrasound technician. And further, it appears he is 5 lbs which is at 55% of "normal" so not too big, not too little. And apparently his measurements show that my gestational diabetes is not affecting him at this point. Thank God for that! I also have plenty of fluid and got to watch as he practiced "breathing" the fluid in and out of his nose. It was really cool. Anyway, here are a couple of face shots the ultrasound tech got for me, and I have to say he looks cute! (so glad...you know you never know!) :)

Baby Shower Day!!

Its my Baby Shower Day! Yesterday, Michelle my awesome cousin/photogopher came down and took some really cool pics of Daniel and I and my huge belly. :0 It was fun. We should be able to have some pics up on this blog from that next week.
Last night, Abby and Jennifer came in and so we had a houseful of girls...can anyone say "slumber party?" Daniel was a trooper about it all too.
Today at 2:30, the Olive Garden Girls are throwing me a babyshower...should be lot of fun with friends and games.
Other than laying on nerves in my hips Daniel Patrick has been pretty calm lately, only kicks hard when I'm trying to go to sleep...
My ultrasound to see how big he is, is next Thurs. the 12th. Since this week begins my 9th month I'm really ready to get on with the next stage! But I've really enjoyed being pregnant, even though I still reserve the right to complain! :)

Feb 4th...34 wks and counting!

Hey everyone! I'm 34 wks along and counting! I'm hoping this blog will be therapeutic as well as let me ramble on about my pregancy and baby to my hearts content...which I know even though you ask how I'm doing...you don't really want a play by play! The only thing I ask is that you don't laugh too much at my naievete. :)
